On my way to getting my full license now Thumbs Up Just come back from the local bike training place and got lots of info. He said it should cost less than £400 for lessons + tests, which it a lot cheaper than I was expecting. Well, he said £280 if I pick up everything first time but I've probably picked up loads of bad habits Embarassed Doing my theory first then mod 1 training once I pass Thumbs Up

I need to brush up on the theory part though Thumbs Up Any recommendations? Preferably ones that don't cost money Laughing I aced my car theory test so I'm not too worried.

My mate plunged into Mod 1 without any training, passed with 1 minor. It's only £10. Why waste your money with training?

Cos people pick up bad habits that need to be ironed out, i also want to take training again as its obvious i need it.

But the Mod 1 is U-turns and high speed swerves, I never said don't take training for Mod 2.

Thought it was just advanced training after the test, my mistake, i'm not upto date with all these useless rule changes. I need to get back to my bike school and get a good bollocking to get me riding like i should do.

Just to be safe really. I've only got about 3,200 - 3,500 miles of road experience.

Just phoned up and managed to get a cancellation for next week Very Happy

Hmm, what's the hazzard perception test like for motorbikes? Is it exactly the same as the car one? Confused

Thumbs Up Can't see why it wouldn't be, really.

Got a hold of some CDs today but they're out of date. One is 2006/2007 and the other is 2008. YouTube is a good source of information though, especially for the module tests.

Passed my theory today - 50/50 for the questions and 54/75 for the hazzard perception (annoying cause I got 66 for my car theory). Booked my Module 1 training for this Monday and the instructor says if I pick everything up quickly he can book me in for the proper test early next month. Luckily for me the test centre is literally right next to the training centre! Very Happy

i had gone up from a 50cc moped onto the CG125 for the test and i thought it was metally fast lol.

for the theory just do the free tests online, most is common sense anyway.

Well this is the course i did..
restricted access.
4 day course,
day 1 cbt on 125.

day 2 road riding 125, exceptionals go on 500, if you arent ready for a 500 on day 3 you cant finish the course.

day 3 you do road riding and slow speed stuff.

day 4 you head to your 1st module
then come back in a week for 2nd module

I was 20..
Not sure what the rules are elsewhere, but thats what i did in June.
Unsure if GS was restricted..never went over 60 and didnt seem sluggish at the time.

Either someone cocked up somewhere, or I did the wrong course lol...but thats what i did Smile
