Walking my Cats on lead with Roxanne.

They have both been indoor cats since they were born. Not only are they not cut out for the out door world. Fire (On the left) has brain damage. Notice the Dilated pupils. He is a bit slow. He's 4 years old but thinks he's still a full on kitten.

Honey, On the right, Is just too slow and fat to be an out door cat. She wouldn't be agile enough to get away from danger.

So Instead, Roxanne insists that we walk them. I look like a fucking mincer with a little cat on the end of a lead.

So who else is gay enough to walk their cats on lead?

Not that gay... I used to walk my cat OFF lead! Laughing

(Okay so she really just used to follow me round the block when I walked my dog. Got to a point where the dog wouldn't continue walking unless the cat was with us! Smile ) - They're both dead now... Sad

What the fuck is it with people having 'indoor cats'?

It's only fat and crap at defending itself because you never let it outside to learn how to be a cat.

This indoor cat business is a vicious circle. The longer you keep it indoors, the lamer and more useless it gets, and the more you decide it's better off indoors, and on and on.

It's like your parents not letting you go to school and then, at the age of ten when you are a spastic who can't communicate, deciding that you'd get bullied at school so they better keep you at home to keep you safe.

Honey was a breeding cat. We got them off Roxannes parents who breed Cats.

Fire is one of Honey's kittens.
He is brain damaged so cant go out.

And because Honey has been a breeding cat all her life, She's in no fit state to be an outdoor cat.

Hence they are both kept indoors.

Our cat is awesome. Never really grew up size wise. It is male but doesn't have proper balls, it never developed even though it is about 3-4 years old.

Best bit is when we go away we don't need to leave food, it hunts and eats mice. We do feed it normally though.

Walking a cat is more gay than taking it in the ass.

Not me... I've got a rugged little terrier. Walk him on a lead until we're in the fields and woodlands then I let him off to charge through the undergrowth. He's been brought up around rodents and such, so he doesn's chase and kill anything. He'll have a bark at the sheep & pheasants that the estate keep stocked, but thats only if they cross his path. See avatar for said dog wearing my clip-on work tie.

I did used to walk my bearded dragons round the garden on a repti-lead on hot summer days... thats about as gay as I got.

FFS, shame on you - man up, grow a pair and stop letting your missus emasculate you.
Go drink some beer, watch some porn and try to retain that last particle of masculinity which is shortly to leave your body.
Next time your missus insists that you go and walk your cats, try knocking her about a bit - it's what real men do.

We've got the Rhodie too. So when I want to gain back my masculinity, I walk her. Laughing

As for cat breeding. I don't really know anything about it. But Roxanne's parents breed Siamese cats now. Any runts or un-wanted kittens, Their house is big enough to keep them as pets.

They have about 9 or 10 cats at the moment. Proper animal lovers.
The Bengal's we've now got didn't get on too well with the Siamese cats, Which is why we got them.

Mmmmmm, i think it's fairly clear who wears the trousers in the binge household.

(I'll give you a clue, it's neither you, the cats or the dog).

Thumbs Up

My neighbour at a previous residence had a cat and it would wait down near the main road out of the estate for her to walk by on her way home and would then walk the 1/4mile or so back alongside her on the pavement, I thought it was quite cool to see a cat walking with someone. No doubt instigated by the fact she had no cat flap so it was coming back for food but it could've just waited at the flat.

I still wouldn't walk one on a lead though you big gayer Wink

We have two outdoor cats, one a black and white moggy (Rossi) and one a completely batshit mental Bengal cross (Monty). It always makes me laugh when you get dog owners who reckon cats aren't affectionate, can't show their owners any love or be a 'proper pet'.

A domesticated animal is a domesticated animal, end of story, Monty is ridiculously affectionate, to the point where he will follow the missus round the house, purring non-stop.

Cats suit our lifestyle, we'll have dogs when I retire, so they can be properly looked after and walked regularly, a couple of Malamutes is looking likely. Dogs are no better or worse than cats though, IMO, just different and less independent. Our cats are outside all night and all day, except weekends, then they come in and veg throughout the evening.

Cheers

My cats were indoor cats for the first 9 months of their lives as I wanted to spend time with them and didn't want them being stolen as they were young and entire (ie. breeding potential).

Once they had been neutered and it got to Spring they started going outside by themselves. It worked well at my place but when I visited a friend their house was in town, so in order for them to get some air I had to take them on leads and harnesses.

One of them walked nicely, the other just threw himself on the ground and when he did get to his feet always went the opposite way to the other one - tangled lead chaos! Funnily enough he is the one who will follow after me when I walk the dog - we get so far up the track before he stops walking, starts shouting and then turns back!

I gave up!! They are still indoors at night though to try and prevent too much wildlife carnage at dawn and dusk and any cat fighting with the feral toms that only lurk in the dark!

I do. Had him insured for the first year, just in case, now he's all clued up and has a ball. £400 cat though, so he's chipped and has had all the shots/booster every year/wormed and front-lined frequently.

When he was still small and we took him camping with us I had to take him around on a lead when we went out. I'm sure ya'll can imagine what kind of nonce I looked like, but I swear if I'd been single/on my own I would have got laid by more than one fit foregn student.

Monty is only a Bangal cross but he was still £120 when we bought him. This is him as a kitten, he's pretty much kept his colouring intact and is a very cute cat, albeit totally mental.
