I'm setting up Virgin Media in my house tonight. My cable wall box is upstairs, but I want the router and telly downstairs. Can I run an extension of any length I want?

The bloke who fitted mine just has reels and reels of the cable he just cuts it to length so i can't see why you couldn't.
