What bike to get after passed the test?

Just wondering what bikes you guys bought after doing your test and what bikes you'd suggest?
(I prefer the Sporty style)

You can restrict just about anything, but a very popular first big (albeit restricted) bike is the SV650S - fully faired it's very sporty looking. You might also consider something like an ER6F.

I always think your first big bike should be something special that you have always yearned for. As metalangel said since you can restrict almost anything ( although not always useably ) the world is your oyster.

I went for an old zxr750 after I passed because it's a bike I had always lusted after. Admittedly I didn't have to worry about restricting it but I would have still chosen that one even on restriction.

What bikes hit your spot?

I passed my DAS when I was 21 (I'm 26 now) and went straight onto a Triumph Daytona 600. So luckily I didnt have to worry about restricting it

Excellent bike prob not the first choice for a first bike but there you go. I got on fine with it and never came off

If I had to do it again I'd go for one of these:

An AJS 31 650 (I hope to get one next year, or possible a BSA 650 Lightning)

Something like an SV650 would be ideal but go with what you like and want.

I got an SV650N but im not a fan of sports bikes.
