Should be a good day for 2 wheel racing tomorrow. Rossi may wrap up his 7th premier title, or might bin it and make for another valencia special. AND Spies/Haga will probably do an Imola-like Edwards/Bayliss battle for the crown.

WSB... Poor Haga. Fluckin Borrocks to him. It pains me seeing him being the almost-man again this year. But Damn, Spies is cooking on gas though!

I missed the first race, all it says is Haga RT. What happened!? Does that mean that Spies has won the champ?

Haga lost the front and Spies has a 15 point lead into the next race.

As much as I'm normally happy to see the best man win, I was hoping Spies wouldn't end up on top. I was rooting for Haga all year and to see him come so close, AGAIN, and to just miss out, is a real disappointment. Haga's probably slightly miffed about it too, come to think of it. There is always next year, but I can't see it being any easier.

As for MotoGP, what can you say? The man's a legend. Time and time again Vale proves that no matter what the rules, no matter who the competition, there is no match. That said, Casey's form over the last few races has been monumental so, as usual, I'm looking forward to the start of next season before this one's even finished.

Just a few more straws to clutch at and that'll be it for racing in 2009. Sad

I thought that the WSB/WSS/600 Superstock race was much more interesting than the MotoGP, loads of overtaking and fairing bashing... and crashes for that matter.

But I seriously feel sorry for Haga, he's been the nearly-man for too long now and been rooting for him since I first saw him race on TV back in 2000. Always interesting to watch and love his post race comments. Hell I even bought his replica leathers lol!

To be honest, I think Michel Fabrizio is a complete arrogant italian bell end! Gp racers try to speak english during interviews even if it's broken, this guy simply DOESN'T want to try. Don't get me started on him duffing up Haga unnecessarily at times. James Haydon/Neil Hodgson had a VERY good conversation about the roles of a teammate at the end of the race. Suffice to say, it was Bayliss who recommended Haga to Ducati for his replacement... and he's received bollock all support from a selfish eyetye so called teammate!

But credit where it's due, Spies has made WSB sensational to watch this year, wish him luck next year at MotoGp.

Laughing He actually said "I love winning bets on tv" so he must have had a wager on saying the S word on live tele! Crazy yank ba*stard Shocked

Gutted for my hero Haga. So close yet again, poor fella. Fabrizio wants a rocket up his arse - with some favourable tactics here and at Imola things could of been a lot different. Does he not understand the word team-MATE???

The rest of the team didn't like Fabrizio either, when he came in he just got blanked by the mechanics and that guy slapped his head and pulled his hair then said something in his ear Laughing

Hopefully Haga will have another chance next year, we can only hope Praying (I feel like sticking '41' on my bike Laughing )

As for Moto GP all I can say is Legend! but I wish Stoner was ther for all the races it would have made it sooo interesting! Laughing

To quote Haydon and Hodgson "That didn't look like easy viewing". He probably said something along the lines of

"Look sunshine, thanks for fucking our title up, I'm gonna rape your mother in a dark alley tonight... just like this!" Confused

Just a thought.

In any case, I think Nitro Nori would be getting lashed with Spies tonight since the two have mutual respect for each others skills and tenacity.

You got to give it to the brits though; Shakey and Rea (Johnny and Gino for that matter) for putting up a good fight. Definite entertainment.

If anybody can find me that Spies interview online... I wanna be able to play it to my friend. It's like that time when Matt Roberts interviewed Rossi after his mugello victory (or could be his world title win) and asked him "what do you think of the race"... vale replied "we were facking fassst". Live TV does present gems like that for exhuberent winners!

It wasn't just a slip though was it, he did follow it with 'I love winning bets on TV', reckon it was a dare.

Absolutely gutted for Nori, but Spies bloody worked for it.
