I bought this game to fill the gap between cod4 and cod6 as i think cod 5 sucks, well now i wont be buying cod6 due to no dedicated servers.

I have never played OF before and at first thought sh1t this is not the sort of game am gonna like. However after a couple of hours i was well into it, it has a good balance of not being so easy to do rambo and not too boring to have to plan every single movement.

The enemies dont stand out all the time like they do in cod, the long grass can mean like feckers are prone and sniping your ass, need to send your fire team to flank them etc.

For anyone who is bored for COD4 and think COD5 sucks this might be a game for you.

I have not played online yet as not finding the time, played the SP for a while now and think it would be a good coop game with friends.

I really wanted to like it, but it was as previously mentioned, a pile of unfinished garbage, traded it in for Borderlands last week.

Op Flashpoint is all about realism, I bought it becuase I'm happy to sit in a field and then struggle to kill 3 guys....because that's how it is in real life.

In this game though, you take on hundreds of enemies that barely manage to crouch, let alone hide. Your teammates NEVER do what you tell them. Luckily I had a co-op partner for the whole game, the AI teammates were just sent into the thick of it to bring enemy positions up on the map.

The missions towards the end were terrible. Why was I sent with a bloody M16, to clear the way for tanks, by killing enemy freaking tanks? My own team of tanks and helicopters, did sod all, I had to clear the way for them every time. Surely the tanks and helicopters are there for this reason, if you can't bloody use them in combat, might as well not have them.

My biggest problem with the game......WHY THE HELL DOES IT TAKE UPWARDS OF 5 SHOTS TO KILL PEOPLE!

I had a .50 call barrett sniper on one mission, and some guy survived 5 shots with it, without so much as a flinch!

This is supposed to be realistic, I die in one hit, survive if I'm lucky and have to heal....the enemy should too!

Again i need to ask is this your experience of PC or console?

Every hit i made with the 50 cal was a kill to a person whereever i hit them, the enemy can die with hs or a couple of body shots from rifles.
