how would i go about getting insured on a bike for a day or two ? would i just call up my insurance company and do it over the phone or what ? im not currently insured on any bike but my insurance recently ran out so would my old insurance company be ok with this

There are a few that do daily insurance but you have to be over 25 usually and had license over 3 years with no points etc. Even then it can be £20 a day or something.
