Need some help finding a car for my parents. They want something for a while which will later on become a second car.

Here's the specs needed:

-4 Door
-Automatic
-£3500 or less
-Needs most of the modern stuff like elec windows, AC, etc

That's about it I think, oh and their current car is a 2000 reg CLK230 komp so something similar as they really like it but with 4 doors Laughing

Thanks for the help!

Have a look on Auto Trader for a 5 door Nissan Micra 1.2 Automatic.

My grandparents have one and they love it!
It has all the trimmings (Electric windows, AC, power steering). It's cheap to run, insure and tax. Plus not a thing has gone wrong with it and it's on a 02.

But then again, it only has 12k on the clock :O Laughing

There's a 4 door saloon that fits all those criteria and that price range from virtually every manufacturer around, why don't they just buy an autotrader or Which car magazine and look as at the moment you seem pretty vague.

Plenty more considerations such as petrol or diesel, large engine or small, European or Jap. Most manufacturers do nice auto boxes that are fitted to cars in the 3500 bracket, the S60 above has a good auto box and choice of fully auto or the Geartronic (step shift) version. Personally I'd go for 5 series BMW E39 as I think they offer the best spec for price and the engines are all good which is why I bought one, most are autos.

But they are oldies, I thought a Burgundy Volvo was the perfect choice. They can also attach the inevitable caravan to the back too Very Happy Thumbs Up

If they want something similar to a CLK230K, then why not a C230K?

Similar car with 4 doors.

I have the 3 door, 04 plate of this exact model. So I can second it as a great small automatic.
