Bikes around Top Gear Track? (& vid of a fast Ultima)

Having watched this,Ultima on Top Gear track, it started me wondering whether anyone had taken a bike around the Top Gear track and how quick they were.

There are some reasonably long straights and some tight bends with fast exits, although it looks a bit bumpy in places.

They did an Atom vs CBR600RR and it was 4 seconds slower so 1.23ish.

they did it once, they put a CBR600RR up against the Ariel Atom.
The Atom won but the bike rider didn't look that commited tbh and they should have used a 1000

ah yes, I vaguely remember hearing about that.

It seems a strange comparison:

one of the fastest, hardcore, track-biased road cars available with a fairly quick sports bike.

I think if they had a decent rider then I'm sure they could post a time of 1:18 or better.

The olny ones I've really seen (I'm sure everyone else has too) were on 5th Gear with the 999/lambo and the 1089/Lambo superlight thingy. Both times the bikes won

Watching that 1098 out the corners is something else it just devouers the lambo Plus thats the top of the range superlight special Lambo against the stock 1098. Not even the "S" model never mind the "R"
