Getting a bike licence

Hi guys

I'm new to this forum. I have a Full UK car license. and if i want to get a bike license do i have to do everything again? (paper test and all others)

You will need to do a CBT (compulsary bike training).

after this you need to take a motorcycle theory test

Then you do Module 1 (practical)

And lastly, you do Module 2 (practical)

You'll also need quite a few bob.
Having recently returned to biking after a few years I had to do this all (from theory up to Mod 2) and with training, Bike hire etc. it came to £750.
All worth it the first time I rode out on my Pan though ...... Very Happy

As was pointed out to me recently, if you have category A provisional wossname on your paper counterpart licence then you don't have to do anything with the actual drivers licence until you pass the bike test. At least, I think that's right, I'm a bit dazed with flu at the moment.

If you're determined (and have passed your Bike & Car Theory test within the last 2 years) you could do an intensive course and bang it all out in a week.
