My girlfriend has been nagging me for two days to woo her Rolling Eyes
Why all of a sudden she needs wooing I don't know? She lives 200 miles away so the majority of our relationship is on the phone. How the f*ck do you woo someone on the phone? Should I write her a poem? Should I write a list of reasons why I love her?

Come on people help a fellow biker Wink I'd would interested in the girlies opinions especially, although all suggestions are appreciated.

How many things do you want listing?

Arrow Write her a letter, telling her what you feel for her (properly, not just; 'I love you' Tell her how you actually feel when with and without her, so long as its good, obviously! Wink )
Arrow As said before, send flowers, with a personal message
Arrow Send her postcards from wherever you are, it will let her know that you're thinking about her (and it only costs the price of a stamp!)
Arrow Take her away somewhere for the weekend, somewhere romantic, or just special to you both
Arrow Goand visit her unannounced, surprise her and show how much you care.
Arrow Write her a poem, or, if you can't write, find one that you like and send it to her, or tell it to her over the phone.
Arrow Buy her a gift that is special to you both.
Arrow Arrange to meet her half-way between where you both live for an evening or overnight somewhere, even if its just for a drink, it shows you want to spend time with her.

Of course, all of the above is down the how much you actually love/care about her and whether or not you have a romantic bone in your body?!

Well if she has asked you I suggest getting to the woo quite soon or it may end up being someone else.

No mate, I really don't think she's going to leave me. She rings me every night, she's talking about the holiday we are having in september and she can't wait to come home from uni for the summer so I can spend my 1 day off a week with her. Rolling Eyes She is always talking about the future and getting married and kids etc.

Not sure what brought it on...

Anyway I think I'll take her to a hotel I know overlooking a welsh valley not far from where I live. Just for the night as I work so fucking much. (As I said before I have 1 day off, I normally work 10 hours a day and it takes 40 mins to get there.) So time is something I don't have much of Crying or Very sad

Back to the topic...

I'll send her a card with a list of reasons why I love her and do the hotel thing but there is still the phone thing... I could put the poem in the card and give her the list of reasons down the phone Thinking

And it's not like we never do romantic things either. Only a few weeks ago we took a rowing boat out onto the lake at roath park (Cardiff) and ate ice cream whilst we went for a walk around the park n' shit. But the past two days shes bugging the sh1t out me with it. And because I'm full cold (really heavy cold) it really does feel like so much effort Confused

The annoying thing is she knows that I really do love her Confused

You're not getting it... You send more than one, at different times and for no major reason (anniversary or birthday etc)

You shouldn't need a reason, you should be doing it to show you care and to 'woo' her!

So, write a card with the reasons, and then a few days later send her a card with a poem in it. She'll not be expecting it, which is part of the 'nice surprise' bit. Wink

I agree with Adam, woman will always be more pleased when you show your appreciation at a random unexpected time, rather than just birthday/anniversary.

Then, I have to ask, why are you asking for advice if you already know what she likes? Laughing Thumbs Up
I reckon, from what you've already said you're going to do, that you're on a winner! Wink

Laughing Laughing

Stinky smelly Roath Park Laughing I'm actually surprised you survived the ducks and seagulls.

I'm not so good on Romantic suggestions, but surprises are always good, as is just turning up I suppose (though I have had that done to me once or twice and wasn't so impressed Confused ). Flowers and chocolates is boring, and cliche. Make her something with your own fair hands and either post it, or take it to her. She'll treasure it even if it's only a fimo model of a drunk looking penguin Very Happy

What an odd request! Well, I suppose everyone likes to be "wooed" differently, so without knowing your girlfriend I can't think what she is hinting at.

Maybe just do something spontaneous and romantic (even though this may be difficult since she's asked you to "woo" her) to show her how you feel.

Sorry I'm not much help! Rolling Eyes

It is an odd request, but then women are odd aren't they Wink Just found out she has been out drinking for the past couple of nights...Beer has a lot to answer for I feel Rolling Eyes She never sounds pissed on the phone, she hides it so f*cking well. B1tch. Wink Laughing

But I'll still take her to the hotel, I think it'll be nice for both of us.

You could try dumping her - make her realise what she had and what she's missing - or not... Smile

But seriously if you need to ask other people's advice on what to do you are in trouble. She's your girlfriend, you should be able to tell what she wants - and if you can't....

... she'll end up dumping you. Crying or Very sad

You said it.

I've been with her for nearly two years now, I know where it's going. We both went through a lot to get together and stay together. It won't dissapear over night.

Besides if I wasn't confidant, there would be a problem, don't you think.

Besides who can resist a cheeky biker. Wink

(Also what I meant was, I would have to f*ck up big time for us to split at the moment. Nothing lasts forever)

Hmm, wooing... When someone asks to be wooed it's because they're bored, have started to go off you or want there to be some spice. I find that after being with someone for a certain amount of time the only thing that seems to make me go 'wow' are surprises and I don't mean corny stuff like cooking a meal, flowers and chocolates, etc. It normally has to be something that's has had effort and thought put into it. Basically think of the biggest 'baddest' out of this world thing you could do and go for it.
