Which first BIG BIKE should i get

Hello ,

I have been nipping about on my Honda CLR City fly 125 cc all sumer and covered about 1500 miles.

I'm now looking to get my first BIG BIKE .

Want a 400 - 650 cc.

Must be cheap so has to be second hand

I have considered getting one of the following bikes:

1: Honda SLR 650 - This is a super moto type that is a bigger version of my city fly so i will be familiar with it. Also it is one of the cheapest moto's out there.

2: Yamaha XJ 600- I like the look of the bike and have heard it is very reliable but my freind who has a honda hornet said " don't get it coz it's shite ". Again , it seems to be one of the cheapest road bikes going.

3: Honda NTV - Cheapest good 600 i can find , relaible and looks ok.

4: Some sort of 1980's Honda XL

(Ideally i would like a honda FMX because i love the super moto look but it's too pricey for me.)

As you can tell there are so many thought sgoing through my head , can anyone give me any advice or suggest a good first bike for me ?

I have not got the time or money to try all these bikes out!

I've no idea about the prices of those.
But if you check the usual places like ebay, autotrader and mcn you will get an idea of how much you will be likely to pay.

Also keep in mind that we're going into winter now so the prices will drop a lot as nobody is really buying bikes at this time
There will be some good deals around soon as people are trying to shift their bikes.

If you're patient and wait for the right deal you could get a super deal soon
