Alternative carbs....?

Hey peeps. I'm doing everything I can to keep my ageing 1100WP going.
I'm after some carbs now as many other things have now been changed.
Mine are 40mm mikuni.
What alternative carbs can I put on without making adjustments or re-doing the bike?

I'm very lost here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

With enough time, money and effort you can put anything on. However unless you want the hassle of rejetting (quite possibly difficult on carbs from a totally different bike), fitting single filters (unlikely the airbox will fit), etc, it would be cheaper to either sort out your existing carbs or just buy another set the same.

What problem is the bike having? Have you checked for worn / damaged carb parts . Ie punctured diaphragms, worn nozzles (common problem on bikes fitted with dynojet kits), etc.

I don't understand why your having problems. Your bike must have had a hard life! My GSXR has done 60K miles and is 18 years old and I reckon 90% of it is original. It runs perfectly.
