It's wierdly comfortable isn't it, treat it to some less rocklike fork internals and I bet it'd make a half decent tourer Smile

Never a dull moment on that bike for sure, look after it and don't you dare crash it in those fairings! Tut Tut

They can tour alright, however, the tank range is pretty crap, even with the PCIII.

I've actually managed 38mpg on the SP-1 which gives about 125 miles to reserve, and that wasn't riding particularly slowly. Not too bad if you wanted to tour, and no worse than the Firestorm IIRC.

On a spirited ride, though, it's closer to 30mpg and 100 to reserve.

Blackwolf: Enjoy!

Which is pretty crap if you wanna tour, ideally you wanna be getting at least 150 before a fillup, but in the french alps where i took mine stations can be scarce and youll find your bum twitching when you get to 130 miles heavily on reserve.

But hey, ive done it and told the tale, its just not the best.

120 miles feels like a long long way when you're used to one without a PCIII Smile

its only a small random update..

now i have ridden it for a bit, i have relaxed on it.

first off i dont know what people are complaining about saying its really uncomfy and have to get of after 50 odd miles, have already done 110 straight and found it more comfy than my CBR6 Confused

second the power, its jus relentless, keeps pulling more and more, also bit quicker than my das blade... Rolling Eyes

third, the sound Mr. Green

and the best bit, insurance for a 19 yr old...

475!! with a few extra bits ontop Thumbs Up
