Yamaha DT 125 RE 2K7 DECAL FACELIFTT!!!

YO PEEPZ!!!

As some of you may have read in my other thread, I had these stickers custom printed. I designed them myself etc.

Let me introduce you to my baby first of all. Shes brand new and only about four weeks old. I thought she needed the touch I could give her. So far done no modifications apart from visual. I'm going to wait a while until I start changing parts.

Anyway,

Heres how things have progressed...

Stage 1. Design:

After a week of different designs and ideas this was my final product.

Stage 2. Printing:

To get the printing exactly right I had the product printed in Germany. This is what it looked like there

When the pictures actually arrived they looked better than I expected them to be!

After about 4 hours solid of blowdrying the plastics and the stickers and pushing out the air bubbles with my shell points card I was done! There are still a few tiny bubbles but nothing to get fussy about.


I still have to put on the stickers at the back by the tail light. And its not a very good comparison as one pic has been taken during the day and one at night... but still its a hell of a difference!

I'm in love all over again! haha

I had to strip all the plastics off and do it individually lol. Well worth it... Gave them all a good clean! Whilst I was cleaning the rims I found a 1 inch nail stuck inside my back tyre ! Its the 2nd time its happened and I only installed these tyres 2 weeks ago! Why can't some building sites just 4king not chuck nails nd shrapnel styled metal around...

Heres the final product with the tail light stickers on. I dont think i'm going to put the side number stickers on because the whole plastic cannot be covered.

Massive improvement over the original - it has to be said - quite bland appearance. I did something similar with the DTR I had back in the early 90s - only mine had a Taz theme
