Hi, wonder if anyone can help me out a bit...i'm looking at getting a NSR125R (J20 Alcast) but it has no spark, i suspect its the coil at the moment but having a bit of trouble getting hold of one...so will a coil off a later foxeye (J22) work ?

lets take things step by step have you cheaked the basic things electrics , battrey charged etc , have you changed the spark plug ?
what state is the plug in picture would be good.

check all connections from CDI & coil (oxyded terminals can provide bugs)
download https://www.geneva-racing.ch/~alains/NSRtips.doc
then look guide about ignition bug

Thanks i'll try that first, but if the coils faulty would a later one be ok ?
