Well you may remember me as the guy who rarely posts unless he needs technical advice and what not. Anyway, after a few crashes, rebuilds, touch ups and new parts...it's been stolen.

My beautiful little Cagiva planet has been stolen. And crashed.

The bloke who stole the bike crashed it up a few miles from where it had been parked. He managed to total it in less than 15 minutes. Freaking awesome. Luckily though he was picked up by a routine police patrol who scour that area for such behaviour. They thought something was up as he was trying to light it on fire.

He then tried to do a runner when he saw them, and was found hiding in a field in possession of my license plate. (Y585RTP, if you see it for sale don't buy it, it's not in great condition) So he makes his statement which I get to read when interviewed the next day. Which states that A) He knew me (Awesome. Thanks mate) B) It was only for fun (Totally) and C) He's a cunt.

He knew me as the guy who worked at the Chinese as he said so in the statement, which is true I do help out on the desk from time to time, but best of all he tried to deny it at the time.

This all happened awhile ago and I just found out I get £300 compensation. £300?? Brilliant. I'd be more thrilled if I wasn't getting it at £20 a month as he's on benefits the useless bastard...which aren't in effect while he's in jail. So essentially I've got nothing at all.

Ontop of that I find out that there is a nice little £350 excess I have to pay out on my bike for it being stolen. Coolio. Which leaves me with about £650.

Jesus...That wasn't on the policy when I first got it I'm damn sure, but that's what they have on file and it doesn't matter what I have printed out.

But yeah that's great.

Anyway. I'm now not a biker. But fu*k all you little vagrant thieves as I'm going to get a shitty little Honda CG 125 and continue onwards. I can't afford anything else really, and I want something reliable as I spent loads on my Cagiva. I'm broke, now jobless as I can't get to work and I need my own transport to do it.

On the upside, the guy got some jail time and has to do 1 years drug rehab otherwise he will serve some serious jail times. Serves him right. To be honest though hopefully his problem will get the better of him and he'll overdose. Fingers crossed eh?

Anyway, if people can link me up to somewhere I can look up bikes for sale other than bike trader and ebay motors where I can browse for some decent honest adds I'd very much appreciate it.

Don't go dissin the 4t 125's now.

At least he got caught. Nothing worse than the scumbags getting away with it.

I've gotta admit I'm impressed with how reliable they are. That's why I'm getting one. the MPG is great too. It's just for commuting so I don't expect miracles but yeah this should do the trick.

Thanks for the offer man, I'm 21 but I have a CBT only at the moment as I can't afford to do my direct access. I've done my theory though so I'm not far off from it though Smile
