Hi i have a ns125r 1990 which i am rebuilding as needed a lot of work done. I have fit the the oil and throttle cable, but when i pull the throttle back it wont return. I have tried to adjust the cable and oil pump adjustment but no luck. I think it has something to do with the oil pump but sure, as the cable is not catching at all any help guys will appreiate it thanks Gareth

Is it the twistgrip snagging on the bar?

Loosen the both cables such that there is some free play and see if it then snaps back.

Then take the oil cable off and see if it snaps back (i.e. it is then just the throttle)

If you close the throttle manually, is does it feel like it is jammed or go back pretty easily??

I'd have a look at the slider in the carb, sounds like something might be up with where the cable/nipple goes/seats in there!
