Chipmunk!
I built a model of one of them and had to go to hospital to have my hand stitched back up after putting it through the 11" propellor on the 4-stroke engine at full chat in my dining room. My wife had to clean the blood off the walls. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

Bollocks, I always get the Mitchell and Lib numbers mixed up.
Yes, the Chipmunk. Don't know how I could forget that, I built a couple of them too when I was a kid. Probably because it has no weaponry. ____________________ "There's the horizon! Ride hard, ride fast and cut down all who stand in your way!" |

They did have both the B25 and B24 but the picture in question was a Halifax.
The cockpit was from a F4 Phantom and no Hetzer, its not a Goblin, its a Venom, the strange little twin tailed plane (sister plane being the Vampire I believe?).
I have to admit as to staring at awl at the Lightning, stonking plane.
The picture of the Typhoon is of the only one left in existence. Seems a little weird as the numbers built and the number remaining.
The Stuka was shot down by a Spitfire and restored as was a Me109.
I have to admit the German's did build some attractive planes. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |
