Fizzy drink flashback....

I've just found some Vimto in the cupboard, not had it in years.
I've put in loads of ice cubes, and i'm drinking it through a straw.
It tastes like sugary, syrupy, cough medicine, and it's leaving a furry coating on my teeth.
I declare it to be good.

I once left a bottle of Ribena in the car all summer long. When we found it we opened it and you could smell the alcohol - it had fermented.

Sadly I was not allowed to taste or consume any of this unique creation.

Strangely Vimto fizzy does nothing for me, but Vimto cordial is my favourite and I always have some in stock!!

My Dad worked for R Whites when we were kids but my Mum wouldn't let us have fizzy drinks (boo, hiss) We had loads of 'secret lemonade drinker' promotional stuff instead

I do remember that he brought us home a bottle of cream soda once, Mum relented and we really didn't know what to make of it Dandelion and Burdock was and still is my favourite fizzy!!
