I've been looking around the internet, and most of the 'top 10' app sites have just churned out the same things each time. Also, a lot seem to be American, so not applicable in some cases to us in the UK.

So, I reckon it would be a good idea if we posted up names & descriptions of apps we found useful/cool (and if they are free or not).

So far, all the apps I have got are free, and some of the good ones are;

Lightsaber - very funny.
Carling pint - good for a laugh.
Facebook app - much quicker than the 'net way.
o2 check - good for checking how many minutes, texts you've got left
alarm - well, it's an alarm Laughing
air hockey - one or two player, or playable over Wifi.

What is the best IM client for MSN messenger? I can't seem to find an official one, not suprisingly.

Nice one kids. Karma

I did look at that thread, and wanted this thread to be about legitimate, free apps. Looks like half of BCF have jailbroken their phones mind!

I use beejive for msn app. It's £6 last I checked but worth every penny. Also works for facebook chat and other IM services.

well don't expect a decent msn app for free then. Best free one I found was ebuddy but that got my hotmail account hacked!!! So I ended up deleting it and going for beejive, haven't looked back.

I use IM lite, not sure exactly how many chat things it does, but it does MSN fine which is all I need it for since facebook has its own chat app built-in.

Haven't had mine jailbroken for months now, and had no probs with it Thumbs Up

RadioTimes - Use to check channels for TVcatchup and Radio2/6 schedule
RadioBOX - Listen to Radio2/6
Flixster - Keep up with new and upcoming films.
Ebay - Keep an eye on goodies
PayPal - Keep an eye on payment from goodies.
WeatherMaps - Better weather than the crap standard app
iSSH - Log in to my Linkstation.
MPoD - Control my MPD server.

Does me fine. No shit games or apps. All the crap apps like Stocks, Weather, iTunes etc got flung inty the 3rd "window" thingy so I never see them.

I've recently installed Eliminate (decent multiplayer first person shooter).
Also got a dyno app, Real racing (quality racing games).

A 3D drum kit, a piano, and a vans skateboarding game.

Only one I paid for out of those is Real Racing.

I like little gadgets mainly, anyone got any suggestions? I like games too obviously. Ragdoll shooter is good, as is paper toss.
