Some of you may know that this week is 'college week'.
Our college has been running a 'pimp my ride' style challenge.
6 groups, each given a vehicle, with one day to pimp/transform it.
Our turn was today, we have worked our balls off and we are pretty pleased with what we achieved in 1 day.....

I cant put up any pics until the judging tomorrow, but here is the college website -
https://www.wortech.ac.uk/promo/pimpmyride/Pages/Home.aspx

We (me and MacKaliba from here included) are team 4, Snetterton.

Virus from here is in team 2, Donington.

Wish us luck, and commiserations to Virus... Laughing

Thumbs Up

Considering the rest of my group have never done anything like this, im really impressed with what we got together. I think your going to be pretty surprised with what you see tomorrow mate. although it seems you stole our idea. Laughing

Cheers

True, I should have planned for you to do that, on the other hand, we got given a scrambler and I was inadvertently made team leader, it was only a matter of time before we made something completely different out of it. Laughing

Cheers

Was that a CB250 (or similar) rear wheel going on?
The angle of the forks at the end of the video worried me greatly Laughing

CB650. Laughing Yeah we did rake them out a fair bit, the bottoms of the forks were level with the bottom of the engine after we cut the headstock almost open and then sat on it. Laughing

Me and Nick watched that video, saw that wheel and because it's a similar(ish(ish)) style we both said "they've nicked our wheel the bastards!".
Laughing Laughing Laughing

Edit/ upon re watching that video it's hardly left much to the imagination has it?
I didn't sneak a look at Virus's machine, so I look forward to seeing it unveiled.
Our rear wheel conversion owns BTW, just thought I'd leave that here. Razz

In the vid it looks like emma did absolutely bugger all. Can you confirm this?

Warped

quite the opposite, her and another member made the tank cover out of sheet steel, spot welded it together, tidied up the edges and did a vast majority of the paintwork.

oh and liam, If you managed everything your thread says then i'll be impressed, but I bet youve not got any drive to the back wheel, ours is still rideable if your insane enough. (talks will be happening with mr D later, I wanna take it for a spin)

Cheers
