Clapping for the guy on the Gixer 750 who pulled a stand-up wheelie all the way past the pizza pub (Uxbridge Road) at lunchtime - cheered me up no end. Thumbs Up Even more quality was the fact that he was wearing a business suit. Cool

I very rarely see that sort of lunacy around town, but howabout where you live? Are all the bikers meek law-abiding citizens, or have you got a good helping of loonies?

No nutters where i live, plenty if you head down the lanes towards the wheel etc Razz

Personally i preffer people to be nutters away from the public eye. Poping a wheelie by a crowded town center will make 1000+ people think that bikers a loon. only take a few to do that to shift public opinion towards "they are all loons".

The closest we come to lunatics here are the b****** boy racers in Nova's doing donuts in the co-op car park. Rolling Eyes

Night time riding absolutely rocks, go out on your bike anytime between 1 - 5 am and you've got the roads all to yourself, what more could you want! Years ago we used to hold a regular Saturday evening small bikes race (50cc mopeds and 4st 125's) round my area at silly times of the night, taking advantage of the total emptiness.

Only seen one wheelie lately, was some guy on what looked like a blade going past a petrol station, me and a few other bikers were sitting by our bikes eating and he roars past, nods and wheelies away.
Other than that, not seen much cool biker action in town lately.

It's because we live in Shrewsbury, a small scene of Hobbiton.

Edited. My bad.

As it happens I was on my way back from work today and caught a flicker of light coming up behind me, suddenly the light went up to about 6 foot and he held it for a fair while...

Crazy Supermoto bastard, gotta love um' (I'm so jealous, I was just sticking behind the traffic at the time....)

Learning to wheelie is definately something on this years 'to do' list. Scared of dropping the bike though. Maybe I'll but another one next year and learn on that. That way I won't cry if I drop it Very Happy

When I was in London a couple of weeks ago I saw A bloke, on a Yamaha Supermoto 500/600ish do a stoppie at the lights next to me, and then wheelie away. This was in London traffic too. Shocked
