Yeah that's the one, Hullavington Airfield, Hanger 88 (I think). G has you listed as going so, its HIGHLY likely he'll be getting you a tee shirt done.

You are on the list for t-shirts. Which are being done as we speak (bloody Apple Macs causing me problems as ever!)
Have been far too busy with far too many things to keep this all updated as I should have. Next it shall be better, I promise! Smile

Will drop out another mass-pm with last minute (if any) details as well as updating this thread.

T-shirts are now all done!
Remember to bring them if you have your own, however I should have a few spare 'blanks' but you may need to do the ironing for the t-shirt transfers!

You'll ideally need some old jeans, ideally a bike jacket, helmet and gloves for the minimoto.
Just a helmet for the karting.
You don't have to have any kit, but it's nice to have your own than use the stuff used daily by the general public.

Anyone meeting at mine, be here 9:15-9:30. Still a space or two available if anyone wants a lift in a car.
Believe everyone coming here knows how to get here.

See the rest of you there for 11!
No mass-pm sent out because I'm tired and can't think of anything useful to add.

Just get here when you can? I'm here right now, first apparently. Hopefully some others will show their face soon.

First!

Great day guys, nie to put faces to (user)names.

Mini moto was sooooo painful, I'm getting old. I got a bit of helmet cam and some photos to put up later, both probably rather crap.

So paintball next is it?

Thumbs Up

Thanks for organising a great day, G!! Thumbs Up

Not surprisingly I found the mini-moto easier than the karting - those bikes are just my size!! Mr. Green

I do have some pics, but there are lots and most are too dark to work out who's who due to that door being open at the other end of the hangar - confused the camera and me!! I'll sort through and post some in a bit!

EDIT:

Here we go!!

Glad I came now, though it was touch and go right to the last minute...
had a really good time, I think another time we should just have a slide tastic time, rather than a race! Cool

I already have a few bruises, and my arms ache like anything.

Will echo the sentiment of it being good to put forum names to faces. And yeah, cheers for organising it G... Thumbs Up

Being that everyone likes going sideways so much, maybe next time we should organise a BCF Drift day! Smile

Aye, top marks G.

The mini motos were brilliant - first time on one and I'm already wanting another go!

Nice to meet all the rest of you and Alexio... good luck on getting home!

Only bad thing that happened was getting a hole in the arse of my draggin jeans due to my failed wheelie!

Currently snoring away on my Sofa, but has asked to be awoken for top gear Smile.

I have to say, an award of dedication deserved to him for leaving at 2am and a seven hour journey on a CG125 to get to it Thumbs Up.
Also Thumbs Up to wave for showing us how it's done on his first go!

Nice to see old faces and new Thumbs Up/
Good to see most people got the hang of the minmoto pretty quickly, though it did mean less carnage for the rest of our entertainment Razz.

Apologies for the general lack of organisation this time, though as it was commented the reduced numbers of people did make everything a bit simpler.
Will try and get the 'infrastructure' sorted well ahead in advance, next time Smile.

Rolling Eyes - I got annoyed with organising December drinks as we always seem to end up sticking at the starting-pub as half the people moan despite agreeing to my 'plan'.

Oh and Saturday 12th December - Drift What Ya Brung at Santa pod Smile.

I could be tempted, think the diff on the pontiac might not be happy thought as it's making a winding noise occasionally.

Was a really good day, enjoyed the minimotos again, thanks for organising everything as always G. Bring on paintball.

Karting video - Race 2 (Fast)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udQrnhdOmZo

I was using that small cam from the "cheap trackday cam" thread, the uncompressed AVI quality is pretty damn good I was quite impressed. The youtube version has been compressed twice and still not bad Thumbs Up

Short MM vid to come.

I'd also like to thank G for organising this, without him it wouldnt have happend. Cheers Thumbs Up
