I have now tried a couple of other forums, bike related. What can I say, this is the best of them all, friendly people, lively place to be, some strange posts (some by me), but lots of fun, warm, welcoming a good laugh.

The other ones I have tried are cold, no response, miserable g1ts read your posts and never reply, even my "hello, newbie here..." posts have got lots of reads and no replies.

I wonder why some forums really take off like this one and others are just plain cr4p!!! I feel for the admin's who have the dead sites, they are probably wishing it was like this one!

Ah well....... Worth a try.....

Cool

Korn and the mods must work f*cking hard to keep this forum so cool. But I also think we are all part of a really good group of people. We give and take pi$$ and I think there is a certain respect for each other. Karma

Mods?

I must know about the Mods?

Are there Skin heads as well?

I think the whole basis of a forum are not so much the looks etc, although this looks fine, it is all about the community. That is what makes a forum.

I have seen some forums fall to bits that were superb, several people leave, maybe key people who post a lot, then it all goes quiet, forum finished...!

It's like a family, some you speak to, some you don't. But there is always something to make you smile. People share a lot on here and I'm pleased I'm part of it.

Hopefully I'll meet some of them soon.

It doesn't seem like the mods have to do much here, which is a good thing, the forum seems to sort the tossers out by itself with the fights & flamewars section and the karma system. Well mabey I just don't notice the work they do Razz

However it seems that if you piss off a well liked and regular BCF member, they will all knock you to the ground and kick your head in; bit like cyber pikies really Mr. Green. so be careful what you post Very Happy Wink

TBH I don't think the success of this forum is down to Korn or the Mods. Its down to us - the population (with it being a 'community' a suppose thats the right word).

So come on guys - give yoursleves a round of applause. Clapping

I know it's a minor thing and you can change it to an extent but the colour scheme here is better than other forums I've been on to because there all very dark with black backgrounds etc. Doesn't make you want to be on them for too long.

It's one of the good things about the forum that we rarely have to do much.
It is mostly the people, but a big Thumbs Up to Korn who has put a lot of effort into making this forum different and better than the others.

I like this forum a hell of a lot. I've gained a lot of insight on bikes (and other things) as well as a lot of laughs.

Not to mention I've met a few of you and will meet more of you on Sunday!

God bless the internet and BCF! Laughing

This is indeed a damn good forum and I've spend so much time here - but it's never time wasted!

Did anyone go to log on a month or so ago but it was closed? That was pretty cool and made me feel warm and fuzzy inside! And I went for a ride. Thumbs Up

Group hug!

I only knew of one! It was a nice day so it said something like "BCF will return tomorrow. Go out on for a ride on your bikes, relax and enjoy" with a bigger version of Korn's current Avatar.
