1. Nobody can create a folder in windows named “Con”

2. Write in Notepad the following text : “Bush hid the facts” (without quotes) then Save the file and exit Notepad. Now open the file

3. Open Microsoft Word and on the first line write : “=rand(200,99)” (without the quotes) and hit Enter.

1. Nobody can create a folder in windows named “Con”

This is because windows has a list of reserved words that date back to the days of DOS. Con is a device rather than a name.

2. Write in Notepad the following text : “Bush hid the facts” (without quotes) then Save the file and exit Notepad. Now open the file.

This bug has existed since 1993 nt 3.5. It is to do with the number of letters in the file. There are a few combos but this one is

4 3 3 5 try it. An older one was "this app has can break"
4 5 3 5
1 4 3 3

Only works in NT based ones so win 2000 and xp are only mainstream ones where it will work.

3. Open Microsoft Word and on the first line write : “=rand(200,99)” (without the quotes) and hit Enter.[/quote]

A quick way to test all the letters of the alphabet. 200 paras with 99 of the sentences in each paragraph. This is the most you can do.

“=rand(1,1)” works fine

Or LPT2 or COM2. Must be something to do with Windows getting confused with ports or something.

We used to do that back at school. Laughing . Why don't they make good easter eggs anymore?

Read the scrolling text for a list of credits, and some random stuff.

More easter eggs:

I had a feeling that was the reason as I remember Ally saying he is running Windows 7.

There's no A and B button on the PS2 so it won't be that.

That made it famous, but as wizzzard said, it was first in Gradius.
