As opposed to someone with a chip on their shoulder and issues with their racial identity? Laughing Bring it sunshine. Mr. Green

By including the phrase "but without basic intelligence and respect for mankind it`s imposssible for some people to express themselves in a way suitable for a debate" you are dismissing what others may say as a lack of intelligence. Nice word games.

To be made as a seperate point, away from the discussion of free speech I would have agreed with you. To tack it on the end is spurious IMO, probably a crafty way to justify your superiority complex over others.

I dont understand why people keep posting these jollys !

If you want to do a trip for charity then pay for the trip yourself and any donations go to the charity. Expecting people to pay towards the cost of your trip is ludicrous.

Charities these days spend a fortune trying to make us feel guilty about dogs, donkeys and kids etc and its big business.
Personally i'm fed up off being bombarded with these adverts and people trying to grab you on the street to sign up to monthly donations etc.

Laughing Pish off you.

As an aside, I should get me some shares in that tour company - they must be making a pretty packet out of Barry Sheene's name & that Cancer charity. Anyone got the info on their turnover / salaries?

edit/

This is from their FAQ page..

https://www.classictours.co.uk/TakePart/FAQs.aspx#faq17

How much of the money I raise will directly help the charity?
By their nature these types of challenge do incur costs for travel, accommodation, food, staff etc. Classic Tours gives the charity a package price per person and the sponsorship level is set accordingly. The charity is obliged to tell you what percentage of your sponsorship money will be used to cover the tour cost – it is usually no more than 50% and often less.

I've corrected that.
