What a great program.

This whole series has been great and showed how easy it is to overcome many problems.

I mean the way to get over the pond. Pipe insulation and thin ply..... Shear genius Karma

I would love to see that posed to a group of uni engineering students and see what gems they would come up with.

That was cool.... made cooler by the fact that the amateurs beat the enthusiasts! Cool

Brooklands rocks! There's tons of cool stuff there and it's friendly too, we'd only been in the clubhouse for a couple of minutes, checking out a gorgeous old BSA when an old fella came up and asked us if we wanted to stash our lids and leathers in his office! Thumbs Up

I got to ride the (remains of) track ten years ago on my old 1930 bike, the test hill is fun.

There is just the one corner left and it is very rough. It is good to get up on top of the banking at 70mph on a hand change rigid bike though.

A youthful (pre-beard) 1930 Ariel stuffs it up the inside of Carlos Fandango going into turn 1:

Just watched it and was rather inspired.

I can't imagine how they're going to do 10 miles next week though Shocked especially at those slow speeds. Dullest episode ever ever for James May? It awaits to be seen.

That was superb, i've not watched the meccano one or the plasticine one yet, went on iplayer tonight for something to do and realised missed the scalextric one by an hour.

Iplayer sucks serious balls for streaming stuff if your connection isn't quite up to it.

Such a cool episode though. Thumbs Up

Odd.
They are going clockwise, if you get the chance to ride now you go the other way.

Aye, was awesome.

Unfortunately I don't think the train set one works. Crying or Very sad

I swear he's solely responsible for bumping up Hornby profits this year. (Apparently Spitfire sales doubled after the Airfix episode).

Thumbs Up

I'm personally looking forward to the Lego one that is much alluded to in the open titles.

My childhood was one big Lego obsession! Might have to pull some out of the attic soon, although I'm not sure I see the point in building a house out of Lego Confused I find it much more satisfying and creative making smaller scale models.

But the whole point of the series is to do things with toys that was never meant to be done. It's no good making a small replica of something as that's done everyday by children.

The only Lego I have now is an NXT. Not built anything for ages.

I can't do online viewing, as my internet connection is duff. And if I could, I might fit into the 'addicted to the net' category as mentioned by someone somewhere somewhen on this forum. Laughing Thanks anyway. Thumbs Up

Answer:
Download the iPlayer application and leave it downloading in the background. Once complete watch away. Taking you laptop to work to do this might be an idea if you internet is really fooked.

Nothing to do with the fact the model range has damn near fuck all else in it? Laughing

I went on there the other day after watching it and there wasn't a single model I wanted available in the current lineup.

Just to continue my hatred of all things BBC, why should you have to download an app to do this, when the majority of video streaming sites manage perfectly well without forcing their shite upon you.
