tip of the week buy an abba stand Very Happy


i nearly dropped the bike yesterday again fooking about with the standard made of cheese stand so finally took the plunge and ordered an abba stand of ebay with free fitting kit £89.

it arrived today and why the hell didn't i get one of these years ago

fantastic thing and no fear of dropping the bike and its as solid as you could ever hope for 10 out of 10 product

been trying to get one cheaper of ebay but people pay serious money for a second hand one £50-£60+post in most cases and then you need the fitting kit at £18 so never got one.

see why there sought after now Thumbs Up

They are good in the workshop but don't ever use one in a van to transport a bike, a mate did that and the little bent support leg thing gave way.

I still have mine. Too heavy and awkward on the shipping to be worth flogging.

Couldn't agree more a fantastic bit of kit. The only complaint I have is, if you use it on slightly uneven ground then it 'feels' a bit unstable when taking the bike off the stand. Apart from that though... Cool

If it wasn't for ebay fees, you could probably have £40-£50 in your pocket as it would cost less then £9.00 to post with parcel2go.

I did put up a pair of mint £200 Dainese gloves very recently, asking for a decent offer, but the two chaps who were interested seemed to have trouble reading and asked me what I wanted for them. I repeated the "make me an offer" and never heard from them again. Laughing

I have an Abba Stand, I agree simply the best bit of Kit ever. I bought the front lift too The first time I used it I had both wheels of the ground in under 2 minutes of using it, on my own. Top Kit Thumbs Up
