the exhausts cost me £50 with a bent link pipe from a newer model R6.

I took the risk, and as it turns out, the bent link pipe makes it a perfect fitment for a 99-02 R6. Convenient.

they dont stick out further than the subframe, so whats the point? no practical reason for it.

Blimey Matt you buy some dodgy stuff...remind me of a mate of mine....throws hundreds of pounds if not thousands over time at utter rubbish.
When with a little patience it could all be combined into one decent motor.
Hes spent more in a year than I have in 5 and is on a push bike.

says the guy who paid for a backlight kit for his old bike...

when i've finished, i will have paid in total for this bike what i would have paid for a half decent R6.

i paid £1250 for the bike when it was half decent, then crashed. therefore, plus my estimated repair bill of £650. that makes about £1900... ie: the going rate for R6's.

so tbh, i think i'm doing pretty well.

you enjoy that old bike of yours.

So you still paid more for it than I paid for mine?

Lets play 'compare' shall we?

https://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b397/Oerlikon/Bike%20Stuff/30092009264-1.jpg?t=1257601059

Both cost a similar price.....hmmm...funnily enough I still prefer mine!

And yes I am enjoying it..a lot.
It may be 10 years old but pretty sure its more than capable of holding its own still with most.

Chill mate.
