some scally wags where out my garden 2-3 nights ago 'lookign at my bikes'. i checked them over nothing done to them or so i thought. untill tonight riding my ns125 along at 70 ish and i almost end up beign rear ended as my engine locks up . pull over clutch in. some scrote has disconnected the 2 strope pipe and droped it down into the casing by my chain ( you cant see the nipple if its on the pipe )

so yeah one siezed ns125 that has done 16 thousand miles in my presence. head of tomorrow see how much damage . im REALLY pissed off

I had some verminous sack of shite do that to me years ago on my DTR125. Fortunately it was hesitant and stuttery enough for me to stop and investigate...and I found the line cut clean through. Had to use one of the carb breather pipes just to get me home.

damage assesment

keep in mind this bike has done 16 thousand miles since i rebuilt it

my piston actualy melted kinda....

hoping i can get my mate to hone it out as all the damage is EXTRA to the barel there is no indentation its all melted piston stuck to the barrel.

Sometimes a strong caustic soda mix applied to the alloy snot on the cylinder wall with a cotton bud will dissolve it, leaving a shiny patch. The strength of modern over the counter caustics is a bit faggy though, some will do it, others just fizz a bit but don't really touch it.

hmm might try that as the barrel is nicolsi plated . seen a barren + pison on ebay for 40quid cant deicde weather to scrap her or fix her
