So on Sunday me and a friend thought we would go for a nice spirited ride, we were going reasonably quick down a nice country road, when we saw a BMW 3 series coming towards us, flashing his lights and telling us to slow down. So we did, we slowed down to around 60mph, and 2 minutes down the road, their was a Volvo T5 traffic police car parked up in a little side road, and then a bit further down were 2 police bikes. If he hadent told me to slow down, we could have been in big trouble! Its not a very busy road, so Im not sure how many people they were hoping on catching!

So if your reading this nice BMW driver, thanks for saving my ass Very Happy

Just thought I would let people know that not everyone who drives BMW's are complete tools!

I've had car drivers do that quite a few times. It's the done thing, even for tools in BMWs Wink

In my day it was the Volvo drivers you had to watch out for. Now it is definitely Audi pilots that don't look before changing lanes/pulling out.

With all the clever electronic gadgetry on Beemers, you'd have thought they would fit working indicators...

They are not even remotely worthy of the designation 'pilot'. Wink Gimps, perhaps, but I'd not like to offend anyone who partakes in a little S&M. Thumbs Up

Worse than V*lv*, BM, Audi or Merc drivers are the utter fecking pillocks who are allowed to drive mum's little runabout (Novas seem to be driven the worst) after passing their test and proceed to thrash the thing half to death and squeal through roundabouts at every possible opportunity. Often to be seen overtaking anything they can reasonably get past in 30 zones, usually twist and go scooters, which they delight in cutting up.

The 6 points in the first two years rule has calmed them down a bit...but you still see this particular breed of halfwit about.

VW Golfs mainly the mk5's. They are usually driven by 5ft 3 asian Yoofs with serious attitude problems, who then piss their pants when confronted. Rolling Eyes

I understand that working to a deadline for a living is no fun. But, I always seem to have problems with royal mail drivers.

Is this thread turning into a rant about who we don`t like?

Don't see the issue - I just go between them or past them in the outer lane Smile.
If you're talking restricted trucks, I doubt they'd choose to be restricted.

You've actually had the weather for it? How can this be, it's grim up north?

Sunday turned out to be a great day for riding here in the south, there was sun and everything!

Did it? How the hell did I miss that?

Actually scratch that question, since I can't even remember what I did over the weekend, that'll be how I missed it.

By far the worst drivers for not indicating, speeding, random lane changing and reckless driving is bikers.

I think it's hilarious how everyone on here slags certain car drivers off, when i've noticed when driving that bikers are the worst for all of it. Laughing

where the police are concerned, i always let other motorists know.

sure, there are idiots on bikes and in cars, but everyone should be united when it comes to coppers trying to shaft you for doing a few mph over some silly low speed limit.

i've no doubt saved loads of car drivers and bikers by doing this and they have repaid the favor by letting me know.
