He was SOOOO much faster than everyone else ... a joy to watch!! ... as for the 'luck' yep, to have the hole in the barrier/tyre wall just at the right point - very jammy!! ... but what amazes me is firstly just how far he goes 'offroading' after he goes through the fence and secondly that he doesn't actually STOP ... he just turns it whilst still in motion and heads back to the track as if it is an everyday occurrence!!
In fact at 2:51, doesn't he 'open it up' again for a bit?!?! ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |

I was a little shocked watching this, especially the speed in which he comes off the track. He is a good rider though, did really well in his first racing season this year all funded by himself, dedication to live the dream I think.
If any one is interested here is another video he made, there is something very relaxing about this video, especially for a high speed racing vid:

Hes also a bit good on a BMX too! ____________________ Cagiva Freccia, ZXR 250A & C, KX 250, GSXR 750 K2 & SRAD, ZX6R B1h rag the masshh! |

Cool!!!
I like the camera angles, gives you a real idea of the 'input' that you simply don't get with a forward facing camera!! The music was actualyl beneficial to the video and not all the way though, so you get to hear the motor (don't normally like music on a bike vid).
Interesting front leaver fingerage. IIRC there is a Jap racer that does the same thing ... ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |

I really like the swingarm angle. Shame he didn't put much of the footage in the video. |

Gotta love GoPro's wide angles - Works almost everywhere. I've recorded facing my brake lever before and works really well.
Should be getting the new GoPro HD soon too
As for the original video. He was well lucky. Bongo is a very fast rider, he does race his CBR600 and wins too, seen him around Cadwell and frickin quick. Went through Hall Bends faster than I could if I straightlined it ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |

Blimey!
Reminds me of a very near accident I had on my RD many moons ago...
Bombing down my favourite road (being a bit of a dick if I'm honest) I lost it on a corner then went straight through a hedge. Thankfully, the bit of the hedge I went through had been taken out by a car that went off the road a week or so earlier. It was a highish verge so at about 70-80mph, it launched me a good few feet in the air. I landed in the field, still riding, slowed down and rode out. Both the bike and I were fine... If a little shaken! |
