I dropped my bike and the mushroom has bent. What is the best way to get it out. I started to undo it and there was a load click sound, so i stopped.

I don't want to damage the frame.

Any advice / similar problems ?

Can't really help with getting it out, but I do suggest that you invest in some decent bungs. R&G are fecking brilliant. I binned my bike at 40mph on Cadwell and the mushroom didn't bend at all.

I had the genuine Yamaha R6 ones and had one break off after a spill at Brands. It left a broken bolt in the engine mounting. I just managed to get it out (after about 3 hrs of sweating) with a pair of long nose pliers!
