Dealers waiting lists

Does anybody have an idea of how long it takes for dealers to recieve a bike after they have being ordered? I put a deposit down about 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing.

depends if you have ordered a Rocket III or a Bandit 600 I guess

If you ordered a new BMW 1200GS the waiting list stretches til November so it just depends on the manufacturer and whether or not they have built enough for demand. What did your dealer say when you put your deposit down?As a matter of courtesy the salesman should at least phone you even if it is just to keep in touch at least then he shows he is interested

Wasnt going to admit it but its only the CBR 125 The dealer just says "It all depends on which colour comes in first", but wont they of ordered the specific colours?

DO NOT ACCEPT THAT
They can order whatever colour you want yes you might have to wait as its a new model and until Honda can guage how many the are selling they will not over manufacture but you can still order what YOU want not what the dealer can get. If they offer you an alternative make sure they make it worth your while

Unless Honda UK are waiting for the bikes to land from Japan? If the colour you want is the last to arrive you'll have to wait longer.

Well i put down 2 colour options but there are now a few people waiting so it aparently depends on which comes first, but i would of thought that when they found out what colour was wanted they would order one in that colour, otherwise they'll end up with loads in a colour no body wants.

I said two colours when he told me the waiting time would depend on what colour, so told him i wasnt arsed on the colour.
