Borrowing monies!

Hi, I'm wanting to borrow about 4k, plan on paying it back over around 6 months.

What are my options?
I bank with Halifax and their new overdraft policy is a load of bollox. £1 a day...

I already have a loan for my bike, am I best just getting more from the same lender or is there a better way to short-term lend?

A quick look on-line and I found that Sainsburys do a credit card with 10 months interest free perhaps that's an option.

Regarding the overdraft thing I don't see what the problem is if you keep an eye on your money then you'll be okay.

However if you can't avoid going into your overdraft due a bill or something. Then get an authorised overdraft and afaik you don't get charged £1 a day.

Zopa Dont give your money to banks! You will only get a decent rate if you have a good credit history though.

credit card balance transfer is about the only option unless the vendor will take a credit card as payment then virgin might be able to help as it has 0% on purchases for x months.
