Help 1983 Suzuki GS850G

Hi,
I possess a 79, 80 and 83 Suzuki GS-850G the 83 model being the latest aquisition.
The 83 model has been dropped (low speed) and the timing equipment demolished.
My problem Is that the 83 model had an electronic ignition, (the 79 and 80 model has standard dual breaker points).
would any body out there know if the 1983 model was standard with the electronic ignition or it was originally a dual point system like the earlier models, I cannot source this information in australia.

They had electronic ignition as standard by 1983.
