They get business because people are desparate and it is for a very short period hence you borrow £10 you pay back £12 after a few days, which doesn't seem so bad but when annualised create massive APR figures.



Its bizzare in that other countries limit APR a few countries I know of limit APR on commercial loans to 75%, you charge 76% you go to prison.
