Since you've not actually rated or recieved any ratings, I guess it's down to posting two very short posts in random banter.

And the karma system's bascially a self moderating rating system on this forum. If you get enough bad ratings you get banned. If you get enough good ratings you get fewer ads.

Read up on it in the FAQ if you're interested.
