Not mine, my mate's bike. Bike was cutting out at random times. Traced the cause to a faulty kill switch, and the bodging cowboy just got the soldering iron out and permanently connected the wires going in. Bike works, job done, says he.

But I have no idea if it's a MOT test issue. On suggestion his face dropped slightly. Anyone care to clarify for me please?

i asked the mot tester about the kill switch mate. he said its not a drama if it isnt working, as long as you can still turn it off at the key.

My Eliminator passed an MOT with dipped beam wired permanently on, no kill switch, and a starter button hidden under the seat.

It'll be fine.
