so i might be picking this up on friday... 2002 ZX6R J2. it has tax and mot until october 2010. 15000 miles.

swapping it for the 2 bikes in the last 2 pics. my KTM and my non-running stuntbike project...

my ktm has about 15 days MOT left and 11 months tax...
the stuntbike is the same model bike as the one im getting, but has a cut frame, is a barebone bike and doesnt run.

the potential gain

This, plus it'll be a lot easier to shift the ZX rather than a broken ZX and the KTM that nobody wants Laughing

I know i wont hate the zx6r. Its no r6, but its an il4 600. Best type of engine. Plus... The clocks do the flippy whippy thing when you turn the key.

As for ngk, yeah, it has sparkplugs funnily enough. Why the guy wanted to advertise that ill never know...

Looks good to me just sold a j model zx6r like the top one but a bit worse for £1300

The rough zx6r is worth what £400 tops and the ktm is a rare model in a bad way as parts are hard to get (I know I had one!) probably worth £600 or so?

personally I would want to pay around £1500 for the top bike if its as good as pics suggest. your bikes I wouldnt give more than £600 the pair!

(Im tight and in the trade!)

well i got it today.
not quite as powerful as the R6, or geared differently anyway.
doesnt seem to come up as easily in 2nd gear, but feels nice to ride.

its like going from a 125 to a 600. flat out the ktm was about 70, and its now at the top of 1st gear ish...

ill have to finish the R6, as its almost done, then do a direct comparason.
