think that's a pretty good question mate, due to the amount of replies you've received.........

I don't have a set myself, but like you would be interested in getting a set. From those that have them, i've heard no bad reports, they all seem to work a treat, turning night into day.

Not convinced about the legality of them, but hey, when it comes to seeing where you're going and being seen, i'd say the law can go shove it!!

As long as you get the correct wattage, they shouldn't melt anything, and get the slimline ballasts aswell, so that they're not too bulky to fit.

this site has had decent reviews from people i've spoken to, obviously you also need to choose the size to fit your bike, H11 is for mine

hope this has helped Very Happy

From what I remember HID lights are only legal if the vehicle has washer sprays to wash the lights when they get dirty, and automatic suspension levelling for different weight distribution to stop dazzling other road users.

I used to have them in my old dominator streetfighter headlights but they gave out a star shaped beam pattern rather than the road legal semi circle, so I changed them back to filament bulbs. What didn't help was that they had filament bulbs attached to them for high beam which probably sent the pattern wappy.

When I get some more cash I'm going to buy myself a projector headlight as apparently they will always give the correct beam pattern.
