Is it possible to play flash on iPhones yet?

I remember there being something called mobilesubstrate that allowed flash video to be played on iPhone but it's my understanding that it doesn't work on the latest firmware.

I've googled around but nothing is obvious - is there any way to play flash videos on iPhone or do I have to remain a slave to the tyranny of Apple?

I'm not a fan. Seems as though the more elaborate the flv player the more unlikely it will work. However it seems to work ok with the ubiquitous JW Player so, best of luck.
