Can't copy and paste

I hate PCs. I hate windows. I hate HP. It's all a bag of fucking SHITE!
Pretty much from the start of this miserable computer's life it's had trouble copying and pasting.
It's random: Whenever it doesn't feel like it it won't do it. In MS word it's fine, but from webpages it's hard work. Here on BCF it's a nightmare... I select the text, and ctrl C, but when I ctrl V it pastes what I already had copied from days ago. If I right click to do it manually, it's another menu!
I get: Back, forward, reload, stop, bookmark etc
as opposed to: undo, cut, copy, paste etc
What is this shit?

No point blaming it on HP or Windows as its obviously something wrong with your particular setup - Windows has been able to copy and paste successfully for over a decade.

This would never happen on a mac.
A brand new laptop on default settings... hmmm, MUST be my fault.

Try doing a start - run - clipbrd.exe and see what's on there.

Brand new? With no third party crapware installed? The latter is likely to be unlikely.

You say - "what I already had copied from days ago", are you always hibernating rather than restarting? might want to give it a reboot.
