Hi, I just want to introduce myself. I passed my CBT about 3 months ago, bought a bike and have been riding for about 2 months. I have a Hyosung Cruise II, and have been learning about the upkeep!
2 oil changes and a change of chain and sprockets so far!

Anyways, I'm sure I'll have some more questions soon.
By the way, the guides and advice I've seen so far are great!

Cheers,
Chris

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

It's hard for me to say really - it's my first bike so I don't have the experience, and have only been riding for about two months.

It seems okay (using common sense) for a 51 plate, although the swing arms and rear suspension do look rather rusty. The electrics are shocking though - the left switch gear is crap (soon to be replaced) and the clocks have lost their back lights.

Other than that, it's very comfortable to ride, I'm happy doing 50 miles a day commuting on it. It feels solid on the road. Acceleration is okay, top speed is a fraction over 60mph and the brakes work!

I will take some pictures soon, but it needs a good clean first!

I had EXACTLY the same problem with my last CG, backlight on the speedo and the switchgear was really uncomfortable to use, plus the swingarm and rear shocks were kind of rusty...

But then again, I never cleaned it Laughing
