Taking a look at the up and coming weather and came across this little gem for my area next Friday;

https://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/dayforecast.asp?zipcode=gu24&day=7

That cannot be right, if it is I'm sure I wont be riding ANYWHERE! Shocked

Better start boarding up your windows, although, once the trees become uprooted, you'd best get underground.....

Good Luck!

Good point, wind behind you, full pelt, you should be able to get a higher top speed than normal! Just hope the wind doesn't change whilst your doing it.

Good Luck!

And dont worry - simply refer to my thread on how to survive such a disaster situation:
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=186853

Top 5 tips:
1) Stock up on chewy sweets.
2) Dont tell the missus or kids where they are.
3) Try to get rid of kids and missus now ... they will only drag you down.
4) Think of yourself.
5) Go to the pub and survive there.
