I am gonna replace the exhaust on my nsr 125 as its split,mine is a 1990 i have seen one off a 2001 on the infamous ebay are they the same,they appear to be on the photo supplied on the listing.Smile

dont get one off ebay pal, i got one off ebay a few months back and it cracked about 5 weeks later, best to get a new one mate £125 and its gonna last a whole lot longer than ebay stuff,

I have decided to give it a go welding it up as it is split along the flange Smile

loool be careful and use a mig, i tried it with an arc and mate was it a mess Sad

dont be too agressive either cause they blow through like a bitch

The design of the NSR was the same from '94 until production stopped, therefore I wouldn't expect your exhaust to the same as a '01 one.

Maybe you're not quite skilled enough? Same goes for shopping online, unless you know what you're talking about and buying it's wise to keep schtum with any il-advised opinions and learn.

The early NSRs are the same as the later - I fitted an exhaust from a later one onto my my early model. It took some swearing and a lot of shoving, but this seems to be the case with the later exhaust on the bike you just took it off too, so seems right Smile.

Do make sure you have a NSR125R not a NS125R because they are very different.

he wrote JC20 which is NSR125R (1989-1992) the NS125R is TC01

gonna give it a go welding at the weekend,i think if i turn the amperage right down as its on the front flange before the expansion box
