Aprilia MX 125

Hey all. New to the forum. I have a Aprilia MX 125 '06
It has a full Arrow exhaust system on it. It been de-restricted at the CDI and has the Powervalve on it.

First up, when I bought the bike the headlight wasn't working, only the side light.
So got the head light working, but when I go into the power band it dims right down and only the side light works?

Also, the previous owner said that it has "water damage" on the clocks. When I replaced the bulb, the thick black wire that comes out the back of the speedo had been cut and taped, so I took the tape off and it had been soldered back, the back light an the warning lights work on it, but no digital works on it?

Could any one recommend a good sprocket set up?

Last question, instead of putting a 34mm VHSB delly on my bike, would I be able to use a 36mm Keihin carb?
