Hey guys. I'm having trouble with my avatar. I find a picture that I like, open it up in Adobe Photoshop CS, make it smaller, then, save, go to upload the image and it just gets really picky, 'must be smaller than 10kb' - Ok, fair enough, 'must be 100 pixels width and 80 length' - What! Like it matters! It has to be exactly that or it won't let me.

In photoshop use the "Save for Web" option, not the save option.

Then you can adjust the quality and end up with a small file that is really good quality.
