whats the best leather cleaning advice?

hey,

I am wearing my leathers everyday for commuting and also on the evenings and weekends for going out for a ride.

I been looking around and just wanted another opinion on whats the best way to wash my leathers both Daily, and weekly. As I want them to last as long as possible so daily remove all the grime and mud splash that has built up on them and at the end of each week give them a "polish" and get them all clean and protected to extend their life.

To remove the daily commuting grime from my leather boots,
gloves, jacket, etc, I use Leather Wipes from Poundland.

You get 60 disposable tissues in a packet for a quid. Quick and easy
5 minute job.

Actually I broke the habit of a lifetime the other week and polished up my leather jacket. Looks good, just neutral polish and a bit of time....

Ooo, I shall be going into pound land on Saturday, an excuse for me to take a ride out too

I got this stuff from the NEC show, can't remember the neame, I just wiped it on left it for a few hours then wiped it off as it was kinda sticky with all the excess. Its bought mine up shiney and its a waterproofener, the little rain I have ridden in so far just drips off like rain ex on your visor

remember don't put it near heat.

This may sound odd, but this is what I do. Say your pants, well if you have one of those desk top fans, put it on the floor on its highest setting, then open up the waist on the pants and then like pull them over the fan. When mine get wet, I do that, 3 mins and they are dry
